It’s collaborative — you and your therapist work together at your pace. Some days you’ll talk, other times you’ll work on strategies or skills that fit your goals. The most important thing? You’re not alone in the process
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, grieving, struggling with relationships, curious about yourself, or just not sure how to move forward — therapy can help. There’s no “perfect reason” to start; people come for all kinds of emotional and life challenges
Your first session is about understanding you — your experiences, goals, and what brought you here. It’s okay to feel nervous! We’ll take time to build comfort and clarify what support feels right for you. By the end of that session, you’ll have a clearer sense of next steps.
There’s no one answer here — some people feel relief after a few sessions, others benefit from ongoing support over months or longer. It depends on your goals, what you’re working through, and how you prefer to go about it.
Only if you want to. Some people find exploring their history helpful; others focus more on current patterns and what they want to change. Your therapist adapts to your goals.

Yes! We provide secure, confidential online and phone counselling to clients throughout Alberta so you can connect from home — or anywhere you feel safe.

Online therapy has many benefits — flexibility, comfort, no commute — and research shows it can be just as effective as in‑person for many people. Some people prefer the in‑office setting, but what matters most is feeling safe and engaged

Billings and Insurance

Our fees vary depending on the service. We aim for transparency, so if you have questions about costs, payment options, or insurance coverage, just ask when you book or at your consultation.
Yes — in most cases we can direct bill to your provider. If direct billing isn’t available for your plan, you may pay at the time of session and submit for reimbursement yourself.
We work with a range of providers. If you’d like help confirming coverage, we can check details before your first appointment.
