Alongside my professional training, I bring a wealth of life experience to my counselling practice. I am a proud mother of four children. Parenting children with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and mental health challenges has given me a deep appreciation for the complexities families face, and the resilience required to navigate them. Before pursuing counseling, I enjoyed a 25-year career as a professional cellist and teacher. These experiences have strengthened my ability to listen attentively, connect with others, and support personal growth with patience and empathy.
Outside of therapy, I love doing musical theatre, crafting, getting out into nature, and playing with my dog - Cinder!

Sometimes life presents circumstances that challenge us beyond our ability to cope alone. Seeking help when we feel stuck is a sign of strength, not weakness. I equip my clients with the support and tools needed to move forward towards healing and change. I provide holistic therapy which respects my client’s beliefs and values. My approach integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I tailor counselling to individual needs, recognizing that healing begins when we feel genuinely heard and understood. It is a privilege to walk alongside clients as they discover hope, resilience, and new possibilities for their lives.
For many people — especially those who are neurodivergent — therapy can sometimes feel like another place where they are expected to give the “right” answer. I try to create a space where you don’t have to perform, guess, or translate yourself. In our work, I may draw from different approaches depending on what fits, including parts work (such as Internal Family Systems), pattern exploration, and somatic tools — but the focus is always on understanding your internal experience and building something that works for you.
This work is not about fixing you, for you are not a problem to be fixed. It’s about understanding yourself more deeply — and helping you live in a way that feels more aligned with who you actually are.
